Customer Service Administrator

Location: Central Uxbridge


Our client in Central Uxbridge is looking for a enthusiastic customer service administrator to join their team! Do you have great customer service skills? Do you have an excellent telephone manner? If this sounds like you, then APPLY NOW!!

Key responsibilies for the role:

  • Deal professionally, promptly and courteously with customer enquiries over the telephone
  • Deal professionally, promptly and courteously with customer enquiries via email and other media
  • Follow processes and procedures to ensure the smooth running of customer service functions
  • Follow-up on customer enquiries and ensure all issues resolved to the customer's satisfaction
  • Handle initial customer complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Process customer payments, refunds and adjustments
  • Handle policy administration issues using company systems
  • Handle renewals and automatic renewals processes
  • Be able to provide telephone assistance with the sale of policies via the websites
  • Deal via email and telephone (in English) with overseas customer service teams to help with the resolution of customer enquiries
  • Share opportunities for process improvement identified through customer enquiries
  • Assist with secretarial duties when required on behalf of other colleagues; occasional assistance needed for a small team
  • Other administrative tasks as required from time to time

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Experience of working in a customer service or customer facing environment preferred
  • Understanding would be beneficial (such as experience writing own blogs, general interest in online activities and the internet)
  • Other useful skills would include experience in using Mail Merge activities, Pivot Tables, Data Cleansing
