We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse operative on behalf of our client in West London. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication? Do you have excellent attention to detail? are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse operative to start working with a company based in Uxbridge. Key Responsibilities

Working in a factory environment under the supervision of a team leader or manager. This is essentially a manual job, which requires the Job Holder to carry out the following key tasks:

  • Unpack customers' work and check details against a written job card, query any discrepancies with the appropriate manager
  • In some cases, count the number of parts and query if this does not match the job card
  • Perform a brief inspection of the parts to ensure that they are not damaged on receipt and advise a manager if there is a problem
  • Obtain a copy of the part drawing and the sample masked part (if there is one) and review the masking requirements, referring any inconsistencies to a manager
  • Obtain the necessary masking materials (tapes or bungs) from stores - advise a manager if there further masking products are required for the job
  • Carry out masking requirements as specified on the drawing and raise any queries with a manager
  • Pass masked parts to the jigging team on completion
  • Use any sharp tools of blades carefully to avoid accidents & ensure these are stored safely when not in use
  • Always Keep the work area tidy, disposing of packaging after removing all parts from this and keeping the masking materials storage areas tidy and well labelled
  • Maskers may also be involved in receiving deliveries from customers or couriers and signing to confirm that consignments have been received in good condition
