We are looking for an experienced office and facilities manager to join a busy and thriving office in Watford. This role is a really interesting blend of positions, you will be working front of house, managing the office and also taking charge of ensuring the rest of the business are looked after a in a comfortable environment.
This role needs somebody who has a very proactive approach, somebody who uses their initiative and gets things done!
You will be looking after the office and ensuring all safety checks are carried out, the processes are efficient and it is a comfortable, clean and safe environment for everybody to work in.
The experience we need is somebody who has managed a busy office, focusing on ensuring the facilities are in full working order and supporting in the running of health and saftey processes.
Duties for office and facilities manager include:
- Managing contarctors and sorting any office issues
- Managing health and saftey processes
- Managing facilities for additional office sites
- Coordinating maintenance services for any faults and issues
- Managing post in and out of the office
- Supporting with procurement of office supplies and contarctors, managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to be cost effective
- Analysing processes and ensuring process improvement is recognised
- Greeting visitors
- General housekeeping, putting out fruit and setting up lunches. Putting on the dishwasher and ensuring the kitchen area is managed
- Answering emails and phone calls
- Setting up events
- Booking meeting rooms
- Managing calendars
